Having experienced SARS 2003, Hong Kong learnt a valuable lesson as a city and took personal hygiene awareness to the next level. Seizing the opportunity, Emily took the initiative to research and develop an antibacterial herbal formula, in a partnership with the School of Chinese Medicine of Hong Kong Baptist University. In 2010, Shang successfully formulated a Chinese medical recipe that proved to be an effective antibacterial measure against the threat of flu, legionnaires’ disease, Escherichia coli and four other diseases.
